CM: How long have you, Sue, been in the industry?

sz: Since 1982
CM: How did Tastings get started?
​
sz: Started by husband and wife team of John and Sue Zahner and together with their children, Matt and Amanda have created a catering company that continues to "wow" our clients. Their passion in this business is evident by the longevity of the business and continued referrals from satisfied clients through these 38 years.
CM: Tell us a little bit about the catering company.
​
sz: We focus on local partners to obtain the freshest and finest ingredients. We prepare everything from scratch in our kitchens on site and finish the dishes at the last possible moment to ensure the best results. Our long standing relationships with venues, purveyors and special event producers is a testament to our many years of success.
CM: What types of events do you cater to?

sz: Our passion is with weddings, although our services are in demand for private social gatherings and corporate functions.
CM: What other services do you offer in addition to catering?
​
sz: We offer event coordination and planning and bartending services.
CM: What is your personal favorite menu item?
​
sz: Slow cooked braised beef short ribs, wild mushroom & leek strudel, marbleized sweet and savory mashed potatoes, triple chocolate mousse cake.
CM: What is your starting price per person for a plated service based on 100 guests? (not including alcohol, rentals and staffing)
